Let me introduce myself. My name is James, your DJ Specialist; and founder of Jumpin Jams Music & More. My goal as a professional mobile DJ is to operate ethically and responsibly, to provide state-of-the-art audio & lighting equipment, and to help create with you, an event that will be unique and memorable; at an affordable price.
I started this business in April 2004 in Baraboo, Wisconsin. I have always been interested in sound and lighting experiences and love music. I figured I could couple that with the desire to entertain people, and I'd have myself a pretty good business.
As with many business, it didn't take off right away. I started gathering equipment a little at a time and started doing "free" shows for relatives and friends. Shortly after starting, I decided that Karaoke would be an exciting avenue to add to the "show", so I invested in that equipment as well.
Eventually I "moved up" and I started getting referrals from friends and relatives and started venturing to weddings and personal parties. Finally, things were taking off. In October 2006, I relocated to Tallahassee, Florida. It was a big change no doubt. I believe that word-of-mouth advertising kept things going. This is why your experience with us must be the best!
We are a full-time professional service based in Tallahassee, Florida however, we operate our events almost anywhere!
